JC: So, Can you explain what is this (points to food)
JC: Your kids are going to be very lucky.
RK: Yeah, I don't know if I'll do this every night.
CZ: That’s what I am saying you are going to be a good dad
NK: This will be like, {Incoherent}
RK: I'll be like today we are having mac and cheese.
JC: What if you are a housewife?
RK: Maybe.
JC: You wouldn’t do this everyday?
RK: Because in Korean culture, you make because we were like farmers or whatever. they made everything in batches. And they were just like, they would spend like a whole day making a shit ton of everything. And that's why we have so much time banchan. So maybe I would just make everything in batches.
CZ: What would you do if your kids were like, “Dad I'm tired of eating Korean Food”.
RK: That was me in middle school.
CZ: Yeah I was like “I want McDonalds!”
RK: I understand somewhat. I feel like you you get tired of like a food (you grew up with)
CZ: Yeah you do make like eggplant parm and stuff like that.
RK: I just I think when you grow up you come to appreciate how much effort your mom put in
NK: Literally
RK: because I used to be like “why do you keep making Korean food can’t you make spaghetti”
NK: I was so jealous of the kids whose like parents would make them just like a fucking peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, And then have like, like a bunch of snacks on the side. You know? I’d be like “I want that”
JC: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich and hot pockets??
RK: Oh my God, I used to eat so many hot pockets.
CZ: Same, In high school it used to be like everyday.
